“Much more than a stadium: a symbol of transformation”
Monumental Stadium is a landmark of Peruvian sports urbanism. Conceived by Gremco as a civic gathering space and a symbol of modernization, it was inaugurated in 2000 as the largest stadium in Peru, with a capacity of over 80,000 spectators, and one of the most important in South America.
Its impact extends far beyond sports—it is an architectural milestone that redefined the urban axis of Ate, generating opportunities for development, commerce, and social cohesion. Thanks to its advanced infrastructure and world-class acoustic system, it has hosted major international events, including the historic Paul McCartney concert, earning recognition as one of the best-sounding venues in Peru.
